Sous Vide!

I pre-ordered a Sous Vide about three years ago and it's finally arriving this week! I'm so excited!

For those of you who sous vide, what do you recommend I cook first? Recipes appreciated.

I'm just proud I know what the hell sous vide is! hahahahaha

LOL! Well, once upon a time I started seeing ads and reading things about this new innovative Sous Vide that was being created called the Mellow. At that point, sous vide was really only something that professional kitchens had access to since this was before all the neat little affordable clip on gadgets came out.

It looked amazing AND was programable which means I wouldn't need to worry about keeping foods in the safe zone as it both heats and cools. Super awesome. The only downside is that it'd need to live on my limited counter space, but I figured out how to make it work so no worries. I pre-ordered it in May 2014. At that point it said it would be ready for shipping in Spring 2015.

But earlier this year they actually charged my credit card, verified my address, and just last week I got a shipping notice with tracking number. OMG YAY! I can't wait :)

Ooh, that one looks cool. It refrigerates too? Wow!

I know, right?! I'm excited.

Of course I've spent the last 3.5 years having to fight the urge to buy a cool clip on sous vide device, which would be way cheaper and smaller than the Mellow, but not as versatile :P

I can't believe it's finally happening.

It's very fancy. I hope you enjoy it. The Starbucks eggs are a staple for me.
