In Alberta Awaiting Surgery

Hello!

I was accepted into the bariatric program in June of this year and was told I had to lose 10% of my weight. I've now lost over the 10% they said I had to lose. I have met with all the specialists and am about to do my 2nd round with them starting tomorrow. I only missed one appointment with my nurse because I woke up super sick one day. Met the surgeon and everything and chose my surgery type. I'm obviously very anxious/excited to know when I will be getting the actual surgery done. Can anyone else share their experience with how long you had to wait after you lost the weight and did everything they wanted of you? I was given about a year wait time based on other peoples typical wait time but they said if I progress faster than most people and succeed with the weight loss etc before that I have a good chance of it being less than a year.
