This week I had an unexpected NSV
Having been in maintenance for a few months I thought I was done with NSV's but today I had one.
If you were/are like me, you have avoided having your picture taken like the plague. I look back at pictures of my son and it looks like he was being raised by a single dad. I'm in almost no family pictures. The ones I was in, I always strategically placed my son in front of me and tucked in a bit behind my husband to hide from the camera. I never ever allowed seated photos (they felt like they added an extra 40 lbs).
Over the past year I have been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and have been taking more pictures with me in them (especially with my son). I have to remind my husband to take a picture because I've conditioned him not too...I've always been the family photographer.
This has been a phenomenal year! With the weight loss I've been able to participate in lots of fun activities like spelunking (cave exploring) below and now I have the photos to prove it!
...And this week someone at work took this one of me sitting on the floor untangling our office decorations. I had a dreaded...OMG I'm sitting and they are taking a picture moment. But when I got the picture back, I didn't hate it. Total NSV for me.
