I kind of feel GRABBED by the persiastent Big Mac commercials lately also truffle lobster Mac and cheese ... grrr.

these commercials make me want to make a delicious undistinguishable version of same ... but still too much focus on and urging towards food as inappropriate comfort.

how do you - twosticks of pepperoni jerky a day and a container of yogurt basically starving yourselves constantly dieting eaters deal with this ? I call you this not as any insult just accepting the reality - like most actresses accept eating pretty much not at all.

Does not phase me but I was lucky that I never liked fast food chains such as one you mentioned .. good restaurants or mom and pop bar restaurant were my bad choices for a burger or even pizza pre wls. Don't like fast food it is mediocre crap food to me, I was and am a total food snob.

also never drank soda prior to WLS. My mom never had soda in the house only the occasional Ginger Ale when we were sick. Thank goodness one good thing ... following same with my kids. It was a blessing not having that habit to kick.

I am fortunate that I am repulsed by the smell of fast food and more specifically Fried foods. I ahve picked up fast food for the kids at times and the smell forces me to grab air freshener and get the stench out of my vehicle. I watch many food network programs and that does not bother me at all.

I do Miss Pizza though. I go to Planet Fitness and they have Pizza on the first Monday of the Month, I swear I can smell the pizza as soon as they walk in the door.

Lol. I do make a delicious indistinguishable taste wise ( actually it tastes a LOT better than commercial)low-fat to fat free pizza ...so easy.

Personally i find pizza a weight gainer no matter what- its the bread and the cheese combination duh... its half bread and butter ( cheese is half butter... might as well APPLY it )

And fat free mozzarella is getting harder and harder to find ...

Why I choose not to eat it, though I do miss it!

Fat free cheeses do use freeze dried natural butter solids as well as powdered ( freeze dried ) milk and freeze dried ( de-fattened) cheese solids- mostly Wisconsin cheddars.

A lot of cheap supermarket sauce mixes contain exactly these unobjectionable healthy and expensive ingredients... bought separately.

So the answer is ..yes . But i have never actually tried it... you're making me curious !

I'm curious - you've made a number of comments recently talking about "torturing" animals, yet you consume animal products. Is there a reason you aren't vegan? It seems strange to me that you accept some animal torture (as evidenced by your consumption of animal products) but not others.

I'm not vegan because that's a very radical and limited diet choice... at least for someone as food-centered as me.

iIve always loved recipes and great classic foods - I actually made every recipe in a famous cookbook as a pre teen- including deboned chicken, millfeulle pastry dough and every sauce imaginable . Probably my interest was sparked by a painful huge birth defect- a hiatal hernia that made me want to eat/ taste all the time but that doesn't explain the curiosity or the willingness to grow/ feed my own food.

A lot of people with the physical need to overeat just choose fast food- not me.
