Hey everyone !

First, my stats:

Heaviest: 345

Surgery: 300 (May 26, 2016)

Lowest: 175

Current: ~186, enjoying this as my maintenance weight. Had a gain to 189, but have kept it around 185.

Wanted to share that I ran my second Half Marathon this last Sunday, had a blast! Took 16 minutes off my time since my first one in January, so am pretty excited and proud about that.

Day before had a 5k I got a free entry for -- won 3rd place in Womens age 30-34 group lol. Apparently the person whos bib the race people gave me was originally registered for the 5k, then upgraded to 10k and they never changed the name :( Immediately after the race I checked the standings (men category) and my name wasnt even listed, not even for last place. Figured I must have done pretty bad since I was taking it easy considering had a half marathon the next day... Was looking online on Monday and saw that based on my time I actually got SECOND PLACE in the mens category, but then found my bib number under the WOMENS category for 3rd place! Awards were already given out (so the men got theirs), but since I wasnt there for the womens, they still had it, so I asked if I could claim it and they said sure! So, I won 3rd place in the womens group haha

Lastly, and most importantly, we're almost finished with the finalization of our adoption for our little girl. Has been an absolute blessing and loving every minute of it. We brought her home on Valentines Day (born Christmas Eve). The other day I was doing some skin time with her and she was getting fussy being on her tummy, so I put on her back and had her little head popped out of my jacket. She was sitting there smiling ear to ear and my wife walked in and saw, and grabbed a photo of us. I'll cherish this memory forever and am so thankful I got such a wonderful picture of her hammin it up

I signed up for my first FULL MARATHON in November, called Space Coast Marathon over at Kennedy Space Center. Also signed up for the full marathon of the one I just did for 2019. Lots of miles!

Hope everyone is doing great.

I cant encourage you enough to do something challenging, you're worth it.

Thanks man

I'm about 2 hours South -- went to college at UCF

I'll actually be up in Orlando on the 21st and 22nd, running the Disney Star Wars half marathon

Maybe can meet up! Generally shoot up 95 or the turnpike and cut over to Disney
