Congratulations!!!

I am many years out (almost 10) and had RNY, so let sleeve peeps answer your question on timing!

Welcome! I had my RNY in the olden days (before insurance co's had rules) so it only took me a bit less than 3 weeks! Six months seems to be average nowadays.

I don't actually remember how long, it all feels like a blur. Maybe 3-4 months? It was a really exciting and nervous time for me! Congratulations on making a big change in your life!

Wow! You've been kicking ass in the weight loss department. It seems like you just had surgery.

Congrats.

Slightly less than 3 months. My first appointment was February, 2014 and I had surgery May 12, 2014

My insurance required a 6 month evaluation, so that's how long mine took, plus an additional month due to timing/scheduling. My husband had surgery in January, so I pushed my own into February.
