Has anyone taken glucomannan in tablet or powder form after their WLS? I can't get my family to eat it, so I'm not interested in consuming it in pasta/rice form. Thanks!

I took it before my surgery and it didn't work for me. I still have a bottle of capsules in my medicine cabinet I need to throw out. I would check with your doctor before trying it. It was one of a few "supplements" called magic weight loss pills I tried with no success.

Also known as konjac flour, I use it as a Keto thickener to replace cornstarch. It works great. That's the only way I use it.

I have taken the NOW brand capsules.

I was hoping they would help with regularity as well as provide fullness. I was looking to get off of miralax daily.

You must be very careful to take them with a lot of fluid -- otherwise they can expand in your throat before reaching the pouch.

That said, I didn't find that they did anything of value. YMMV.
