What do we do if psychologist doesnt give a recommendation for surgery? I dont want to stop and give up. She said I need therapy for depression and to lose weight first. I understand about therapy but now what do I do?

I think that's a question to ask the Bariatric team. Most of us needed to lose some weight before surgery. Getting into therapy can be a good thing pre-surgery, I would ask them when you can be reconsidered.

Definitely talk with your surgeon's team about this. They should be able to give you advice on what to do and point you to a non-surgical weight loss plan to get you to where the psychologist will approve you.
