Hi, OH!

The weekend is nigh and I?d love to hear about your NSVs (or heck, even your SVs). Thanks in advance for anyone who shares.

I?ll start. I walked miles during a mini vacation and had way more energy than I did during the last one at just 15 lbs heavier. This reminded me that even when the loss is slow, it doesn?t take a huge loss to make a big difference in how I feel. Also, when we were just back from a mini vacay and I didn?t have much clean laundry. I went to find PJ pants to sleep in, but the only clean stuff on top was flannel (too darn hot for that). I dug and found an old pair of lightweight capris style PJ pants that would be perfect?but were at the bottom for a reason. I was too big for them. The drawstring, non-stretchy style didn?t fit me at all. Well, with trepidation I slipped them on. They fit just right.

Biked for 15 miles.... I am still amazed I can move, much less do things like bike ride.

One of my main motivators for getting WLS was to regain easy mobility. Some of the best things to see and do in this world are only accessibly by foot or by bike.

Congrats! 15 miles! Wowza.

It's not much but I'm adding things back into my diet and the scale is staying still, this is great for me! I'm already 15 past my Surgeons Goal Weight for me and only a few pounds off of my "wish weight!" I'm trying to dial into my maintenance levels and it seems to be working! YAY!!

I beg to differ! That is "much". Finding your sweet spot is a gigantic win.

These are fabulous! I bet your doc is super excited, too. Also, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to learn that my feet might shrink down. I feel you: Cute shoes on "W" are hard to find!

I wore an 11 W, I always felt like I could NEVER find shoes that didn't look like giant, ugly boats. Now I'm down to a 10M. Still wish my feet were smaller in length, but I can at least find shoes that look nice!

I've been out of town for the week for work. Historically the hotel towels have always been too small...no matter how luxurious and upscale they are.

Well, this time the standard hotel towels went around me with towel to spare AND stayed on when I tucked it into my bosom.

I never wanted to take it off!
