Those first few days are rough, incision pain and lots of "gonna-float-away-from-all-this-gas" feeling, but it gets better pretty quick. One thing I've found that tastes good to me is a packet of sugar-free Carnation Instant Breakfast, 1 cup of crushed ice, 1/2 cup of milk and a tablespoon of peanut butter (I'm using Smuckers all-natural - only ingredients are peanuts and salt). I whirl all that for about 5-6 seconds in my magic bullet clone and it is yummy! I was getting tired of the other stuff, and this was a welcome break. Best of luck to you all! |

newstacy Lewis Center, OH Member Since: 04/19/08 [Latest Posts] | Post Date: 5/9/08 9:42 am I'd check with your surgeon before adding any meds to the regimen - some are OK, some do nothing because they're designed to be absorbed through your stomach (of which you have so little now!), some can harm your tender little pouch, so best to ask. I know, that bloat-y feeling is not at all fun! |
