I would suggest getting tested for Lyme disease I have had it 5 years. It can be misdiagnosed as FM or cause FM. It can also cause severe fatigue. You do not need to remember a tick, bite or rash.  Ask  for IgM and IgG western blot for Lyme disease I have all kinds of pain from it. Steroids can make Lyme go crazy.

Topic: RE: new here! into and q'sHi ev

Hi everyone! My first post here. A little bit about myself.

    I am 33 years old. I weigh about 288 and I am 5' 4".

i was a star athlete as a child. When I hit 18 I started gaining weight. I ave PCOS, type 2 Diabetes, sleep apnea, Lyme disease, depression and anxiety, Hypothyroidism chronic fatigue and chronic pain to name a few things.

I have tried diets like weigh****chers and I just have been so unsucessful.
I am legally disabled from Lyme disease.

I am unable to vigorously  exercise. How do you lose 140 lbs, if you cant  vigorously exercise?

I am always starving. Thats why my dieting doesnt work to well. I am soooo hungry.

I have 3 small kids. I really need to be more active.

So I have begun the process of gastric bypass. I have my first appt in 2 weeks with a psychologist at the Tufts NEMC in boston,

Can you offer any advice, suggestions? I ont know what to expect.
