Ones you have to get your hand right in & pack are the best - I once had this lady who had a wound that had begun as a bedsore at the bottom of her back but due to neglect & poor nursing had developed into a cavity so deep that you had to put your arm in up to the armpit to reach the bottom of it - somewhere up near her shoulder. It was a disgrace that she was allowed to get into that condition. Awful - & her husbands fault.
But yes, I love the challenge of wound care.

Dear sweet cosmos! You must be a nurse. It's no so much the wound but the growl of pain. I felt like I was handling a grenade. Didn't want to touch the wrong thing for fear that it lead directly to the heart.
