Topic: RE: Canned chicken versus rotisserie chicken
I am a chicken lover & ate rotisserie chicken all the time pre op. Post op I started with the canned because I tried the rotisserie & got the foamies. Not fun! Chicken
just doesn't sit the same. I found low sodium chicken & it sits well with mayo!

Rotisserie chicken can be frozen I would cut it off the bones though!
    Hope this helps!

Ok, take a deep breath and stop scaring yourself.

Some foods, you will be able to eat more (I could eat my weight in chips).

Do a test with some lean protein.....stop after your normal portion size and then get busy with something else.  I'll bet that it keeps you satisfied for a few hours.

Your job is to limit the types of foods that you can eat more of, and continue to focus on the foods that satisfy.  You can do that!!!

remember, just because we CAN eat more, doesn't mean we SHOULD or WILL eat more.

    GREAT POST!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY for you! You WON!!! Just keep showing up for the exercise & all of a sudden you won't be able to miss it & you will look forward to going!
As for the birthday cake I just try to delay gratification I know what it tastes like so I postpone eating it by telling myself if I still want it tomorrow I will have some, but for today I am not going to give in. Usually by the next day I have long forgotten that i even wanted any birthday cake!! Giving in to every desire is what got me to over 300 lbs in the first place this comes with practice & who said you aren't allowed to cry. This is a learning process & getting through emotions & feelings without our food takes practice. You are not alone in the battle! Good luck on your journey!

Topic: RE: United Healthcare Choice Plus requirements

My company changed to UHC in Jan, 2012. When I called there was no required anything & I had my surgery Feb.27th, 2012. The preexisting clause was waived for us if we enrolled Jan 2012. Choice Plus for me My BMI was 47. with several comorbids. I was approved in less than a week! My doc office did all the work & I just showed up for surgery after cardiac clearance & bloodwork!! Good luck
