    Topic: Post Op Weight Gain

    Hi everyone.  I am 5 1/2 years post op and I have not been on this website in about 3 years!  I was reading my profile from so long ago - how surreal!  I have regained about 25 pounds in the last year or so.  I was blessed with the birth of a daugher who is now 18 months old and I have to admit that during my pregnancy and after she was born, I fell back into old eating habits and gained the weight.  I was in denial for about a year, just thinking it was post pregnancy weight that would come off on its own.  Then came to understand that it was me - my bad eating habits, reduction in water intake, and not excercising!  And from not keeping involved with support groups such as this and having my own personal accountability!  So I'm back and hoping that the wls family that was with me from the beginning will continue to be my support to get back on tract.  I actually updated my profile today - that was painful.  Having to write that I had gained weight after all of those updates of weight loss success!  But I am done feeling sorry for myself and I am back to make things straight and move forward with my healthier life.  Thanks again for letting me share.  Toni
