    Topic: RE: Day two post-op
I felt that way sometimes in the first few days after my RNY if I drank a little to fast or for instance a gulp instead if a sip. Hope you get to feeling better soon and congrats on your new journey.

Topic: RE: reflections two months out
You are right , this is not the easy way out. I was the opposite I had no problem letting the whole world know I had the surgery. Hard habits are hard to break. The whole process is life-changing.

    Topic: RE: Never imagined....
Well I never would have imagined that I would be doing all this. I am a little over 2 months post-op. Since surgery I have lost  43 pounds and 6 pounds pre-op for a total of 49 pounds. I have planted a huge garden. Started walking at the lake but now its so hot I signed up at gym yesterday.I get up between 5 and 7:30 every morning, I used to sleep until 10 or 11 and then feel like crap all day. I  quit smoking in January. I was at the gym by 5:30 this morning. I am so glad I had this surgery, I am so proud of myself. I would do it all over agian. There have been some rough moments like the 1st 4 days after surgery were awful, then slowly everyday got better. I do not really like the taste of protien shakes but I do them. But for anyone thinking of the surgery, this is how its changed me. My fiancee calls me "new and improved," that really makes me happy.

    Topic: RE: Hello everyone. Update...
Its been a while since I posted. It has been a little over a month since my surgery and I am doing great. I am so thankful to be off the diabetic medicine, it really made me feel bad. I have so much energy now, planted a garden this weekend. I am down 35 pounds from my highest weight. My fiancee calls me new and improved. He told me yesterday how proud he was of me and said he was worried about the surgery before I had it, but now he is happy I did it. I am happy I did it too. Thanks everyone for your support too.

Topic: RE: Excuse me for posting?
I had posted yesterday that I was stalled in my weight loss. I am a little over 2 weeks post-op. While there were some who were helpful and encouraging some posters were rude. Excuse me for spelling losing wrong, never said I was the smartest person in the world. I did research before my surgery and knew I would plateau I just did not realize it would be so soon.I was just wanting to ask if anyone else experienced the same thing or not. Did not want to be criticized and made fun of, I have been thru enough of that in my life. I do not know if I will post anymore. I was always taught that if you can't say something nice not to say anything at all. Also for those that were so rude God does not like ugly.
Topic: RE: No weight loss in 4 days? wth
No I'm not kidding and I am serious. I had rny March 20th and was loosing a pound a day and it just stopped and I was just curious as to why. I am new to all of this and was just asking if anyone else went thru this.
Topic: RE: No weight loss in 4 days? wth
I DO NOT KNOW WHY THAT DID NOT POST. I WAS LOOSING A POUND A DAY AND NOW I HAVE BEEN STUCK AT 248 FOR 4 DAYS.

    Topic: RE: Question? and update.
Thanks for the answer. I have been pacing myself. I am lucky to have a very supportive and helpful fiancee. Yeah the pill crushing is rough they taste so bad. The nurse at the hospital told me I would have to do it forever, I was thinking I will ask the forum.
    Topic: RE: Question? and update.
I went to Dr. today and got a good update. I am allowed pureed food now. I was wondering, I forgot to ask how long I have to grind my pills to a pulp? Also I am down 12 pounds since surgery...whoo hooooo and down 24 total. I am feeling so good and I am off my diabetic meds already. another whoo hoooo..
