Topic: RE: POLL: What type of BC do you use?
I use Implanon, its a bc that is similar to the iud, however you get it inserted into your arm. I can also say that i 100% love it. i have normal light periods and no break through bleeding.
i have tried:
the patch: I did like it but yea i got pregnant on it, so not so much
the pill: i didnt like it but the reason was because even if i was 30min late taking the pill, i would start bleeding, and it would take 3 days for me to stop. and i was only suppose to take the active pill.
with all this said though, i do have pcos, so my experiences may be different if i was "normal" in that department. i really do advocate the implanon. its easy no hassel and good up to three years!

you do the liquid diet, broths, sf popsicles, sf jello and sorts for the next 2 days, and that should actually help loose those 5 lbs. not sure why you have to loose that weight? for surgery? if so the liquid diet is actaully a great idea, it will enssure your are cleaned out, and loose a few lbs.

Topic: RE: Too Much Insulin???
dont know if you ever looked up pcos, but some of the symptoms are absent, irregular or constant bleeding, fat is more distrubited around your tummy, hurtisim, which is hair on your chin/ face. insulin resistance, infertility, and there is more but those are usually the common symptoms..and metformin sucks, you get diahreah for weeks before you body gets a little more used to it, or if your like me you just keep having diahrea

Topic: RE: Vajaja issues ..
ok this sounds like the same issues my daughter was having (but she is only 3) they tested everything under the sun, and everything came back negative too. hers went on for 7 months or so, and just kinda cleared up..but heres a few things that helped, and dont know if your drs perscribed and/or told you to do. thye gave me topical lidicane for her, so like after a shower, or really went it gets inflamed and hurts but the lidicane all over down there, it will numb you up lol. then everytime you pee use a squirt bottle of some sort with only water and spray yourself down there. when showering dont use any kinda soaps down there, i know i know but see if it clears it up, becuase more than likely you are washing idown there a little more aggrassive and or more often to try and get the grossness away. and the soaps you do use on your body, you want it to a very very mild soap that is hypoallergenic, somehting like johnson and johnson, yes i know its baby soap, but its mild and still cleans. no sprays, deoderizing.
now even though my daughters stuff came back normal, they went ahead and told me to use niastain (sp?, but yeast infection med) everytime she peed after squirting with warm water and pat dryed with a fresh clean towel. they wanted me to do it for 2 weeks, i ended up doing everything but the yeat infectin med, it didnt have the smae color nor did it smell and the tests came back negative for a yeast infection. but the water, no soap and lidicane ended up finally clearing it up.
i hope they can figure it out for ya. also i dont know how japan works, but if your mtf cannot find your answers you might want to consider a civi gyn.

zoloft can be perscribed by your dr. it is a antisepresant but also an anti anxiety and helps with OCD. not saying you have all those but..you could ask the dr about a sleep aid possibly. like ambiem, tramadol, lunesta. however if she is worried that you might become addicted then thats a whole other story. lol have you tried melentonin, or valerian root? those are also natural sleep meds. have you seen a therispist about your night terrors, that might solve the issue. good luck with trying to get a restful night sleep.

i Just looked at one of the links one of the posters posted. 1 pill=3 grams of protien. so if you need at least 60 g.rams of protien a day thats 20 pills. holy moley and its almost 40 bucks a bottle do not know how many are in the bottle but, it seems unrealistic. maybe it would be nice to have on hand if you were a tad bit short to add a little bit, or just to add the extra protien when you reach enough protien for the day, but just thought i would put that out there.

i am the same way as you, i havent told many people about my surgery. i am doing fine with "lying" for the past 3 months. my hubby, mom, bestfriend, and then 2 other friends that also had wls know, and thats it. my kids dont know, granted they are only 7,3 and 2, so it is a little easier. something i have noticed for me anyhow the first 40 lbs or so people start to tell you that "you look different" did you change you hair, wearing makeup, new clothes" lol. now people are starting to notice i have lost a lot of weight, actually yesterday i was talking to a woman who i have talken to several times, anywho, she didnt know who i was. if people ask me how much i have lost, i tell them i have lost 60lbs since .last august. which isnt a lie, they dont have to know that 10lbs were lost in 7 months and 50lb in the last 3 months. if they ask me how i am doing it, i say excerise, watch what i am eating, refraim from carbs and dont drink my calories...all of which is true. now with your children, i think you are right about being concerned about teaching them to lie for you, however if you want to tell them you can explain how this is a personal choice, and dont use the word secret, but how its sensentive, and you would prefer people dont know. i mean most of the time people arent going to go to your kids and say wow did your mom have wls, ya know. good luck with which ever way you decide.

well does the suv have any other problems? we just traded in our 01 expedition that had 70,000 miles on it they first were only going to give us 4500. we got them to up it to 6300, but still a big upset. there are some good deals, that have only pay gas for 2.99 for a year, and rebates galore. but you have to really think about trading it in, they will only give you maybe 1000. have you thought about private selling it? i know we couldnt afford a second car payment especially if the first was over 400, but that is me, i would personally fix the car, and hope that it get 2 or 3 more years, then when the kia is nearly or is paid off then look into getting a car for him.

well i am in the same boat as you are, i only told my husband and my mom, and one bestfriend, nobody else knows. and i plan to keep it that way. i dont want to share my surgery for personal reasons, anyways the good news is i have noticed that people didnt really start to notice my weight loss till now, 50lbs down. so when they ask you if you been loosing weight you can just say yea. i am more of a slow looser so i am actually happy about that for the fact it doesnt seem like overnight i lost weight. now we are military and last time we had a visit home was a year ago, and of course at my heaviest..so they will be pretty surprised, however i do talk to a few cousins and i will tell them i am loosing weight.

you know my surgeons office said the same exact thing. if you have sleep apnea and/or diabeties then you go to the icu at least over night to monitor. well surgery day i went to a regular room, and another thing they told me i had to bring my sleep apnea monitor and use it while in the hospital stay too. but low and behold i never even opened my bag where my machine was. and my dr took out the respirator before i woke up.

ok its not in your arm very thick, just under the skin. now look at your inner upper arm about 2- 2 1/2 inches from your elbow thats where they place it. for removal to either have a baby or its been 3 years they make a small incision and take it out. you can feel the implanon in your arm, however its not visable, unless you point it out.

ok i think i told you about the implanon. i went to tell you all about it the other day and wrote a long response and them my internet went down. How do you like the Implanon? i love it! Did your insurance cover any of it? I have tricare prime, they covered it at 100%
Have you had any side effects? seriously none! well if you call brusing (on your arm) a side effect.
How often do you have bleeding while on it? now i havent had it that long, but i will tell you it has made me regular. i was on the pill, if i even took it an hour late i would start bleeding. i have had no spotting, break through bleeding, exactly 3 1/2 weeks after i got the implanon i had a regular period, not heavy, just totally normal.
Does it only feel like a pinch when they put it in? ok i know you want honesty, so no it hurts more then a pinch. well have you ever had lidican? they shoot you up with that in your arm first, that crap hurts its a real stingy feeling. then they put the implanon in, after the lidacain you dont feelk anything. about 3 hours after i got it in, the lidican wore off, and i was sore for the remainder of the day. by the next day i had a lot of brusing, it didnt hurt though. it took about 2 1/2 weeks for all the brusing to be gone. on another side note are you on any birthcontrol now? if your not then you have to get implanon inserted within the first few days of your period, if your on birthcontrol then it doesnt matter when it gets inserted. also you only need a backup method for 8 days!
