U r right that people don't talk to you like u want all the time but I have to say that there seems to be soooooo many angry people in here. Seems that'd be happier. With their life now that they have a new one that is after surgery. I am just typically happy and a nice person so is just surprises me a little is all I guess I will just block the ones that all but call me an idiot and move on. Thank u for ur help. Melissa

i dont think anything negative about the ds, i wanted that surgery because it seemed the best for me.  i am confused are some people on her just mad about everything or what.  i am just on here asking about things i dunno but ive had 3 ladies be so mean. well thanks anyway.  i do know what i had done and dont have to ask my doctor. i had a ds and researched the heck out of it.  i was just concerned cause no weight loss was all. thanku

i have my records and xray and i would never go back to that office again.  i am trying to get in with a dr here locally.  i was self pay and my insurance didnt cover.  hope to get in with a dr this week.

thank you.  i was 201 when scheduled surgery and at 192 with preop diet and now im at 188. so is actually 4 lbs now. so i guess it may just be super slow for me, like you possibly.  well ok i can deal with that. i just didnt think thats howd it be.  as long as i get to my goal i will take it.  thank you sweetie have a good day. congrats to u

i am trying to get in with a dr and have been trying for a week to see if i had a ds and if all is well.

listen i dont know you at all and dont come on here for people to get mad at me, i am using this site to help me get through this mess.  i only found one negative thing about this dr before i used him and that applied for all the dr's i found.  i would have never gone there knowing what i know now. but im not pyscic.  i am not a troll and feel free to ignore my existence on here.  this site is a lot like high school at times, like bullys are on here.  i am just trying to figure this out and thats all.  i am trying desperately to get into a dr here but guess what they dont want to see me.  i have asked did i get the ds, i have called the coordinator and double checked the best i can do. so now i am at a stand still and am asking questions as they come to me to try to figure this all out.  if i go to the dr and have indeed had a ds then why am i stuck and not loosing a pound.  i mean i DO UNDERSTAND  that ds is major surgery, i had that done remember, and i am not a stupid person. just a person with questions on a web site intended for such and there seems to be some really ill people on here that are angry or something. i dunno. please dont respond to anything i post if it bugs u or u r still concerned that i am a troll, mole or otherwise,

i have read them all and am trying to find a dr to take me in.  waiting for dr houstons office to call me today.  i am also concerned about what procedure i received but i never said i had an easy recovery and am still struggling.  i have had some over smelly bathroom issues and some just normal and a lot of diarrea.  even if i just got the sleeve which i am pretty positive i did get that part at least because of how full and hard to get liquids in and all. then i still should have lost weight at this point right?

I started pre op at 201 and goal is 135.  I lost a lot on my own but then could go no further on my own so chose this route.  ive been up and down forever and as high as 247. so was tired of all that.  i do understand this is a tool.  my concern and questions were just because i am on liquids mostly still and with the small amount ive gotten in then i would think i would have lost regardless of the surgery.  guess i should have known better. thanks
