    I'm scheduled for VSG on 5/7 and still have been having questions as to which surgery may be the best for me.  When I first met the Surgeon, I had planned on having RNY (thinking my insurance didn't cover anything else), but he highly suggested VSG and said that my BCBS does cover it.  Even after tons of research, there's probably always going to be a question in my mind about it.

    I don't know you (obviously), but just wanted to say that I'm happy that you are taking control of your health at an early age!  I was thin until I graduated college, and I continued to gain weight every year.  I feel like I've wasted half of my life by not taking care of this sooner!  Keep researching, get motivated and JUST DO IT!  You will be so happy that you did!  Best of luck!!!

    Wow...we are in a similar boat!  I'm waiting on my VSG surgery date now and should hear this week.  I'm hoping it will be in early May.  I will also be going to Disney in early June and wondering how in the "World" I'm going to be able to do this!  I guess it all depends on when my surgery is, and what my food stage is at the time.  I'm sure it will be a pain, but I will do whatever it takes to stay on track while I'm there!  Good luck to you!!

    Great, I will check it out!  Is it also the best place to find nutritional info on foods that you've eaten?

    I really need to be more consistent about keeping a food diary and have seen several options online.  I've tried two so far and am not that impressed with either one.  Is their a website that you prefer to track your food journal?  Any help appreciated!!
