Any Texas/ Louisiana Folk Still Here

I see the board is just dead now. I use to come in here often back in 2009 when I had the "crap" band. After several surgeries and removal of the band. Sucker dayumn near killed me.... I am now a revision patient. I have been sleeved almost a month now. I am down 30 pounds SINCE surgery. Sure would be nice to get some interaction going on in this joint.

I see most of the veterans are on FB now. I do not have a FB account due to job security.

Thats great, what part of Texas I am in Houston.  Things have been going well. I feel awesome.  Losing pretty slowly bit it is coming off thankfully. I know you are excited. 

I'm in the DFW area. I'm glad things are going well for you. I am excited, and nervous. I keep wondering if this is really right for me. Then I think of the alternative to losing weight the old fashioned way. I could do it...for a while...then old habits slowly but surely start to creep back in, and I've gained more! Weight roller coasters suck.

Hello there how are things going for you? I am losing slowly and feeling great in the process. The Dr. said its because I only had 70 lbs to lose so I am holding on to that. How are you feeling?

At my two week check up I was down 22 pounds. I go back this week for my one month check up. I don't think I lost anymore weight but inches. I have a few issues with this surgery like lack if energy and hormonal changes that may impact my weight loss. When did you have your surgery?
