I agree to a certain extent. All people who lose a large amount of weight may have excessive amounts of loose skin. I don't think the way you lose the weight will make a difference. My sis in law had rny and she looks awful. She doesn't really have any loose skin she just looks greyish and old from being severely anemic and not takings her supplements (also drinking & smoking). I know 2 other people that seems to have really long faces sinces surgery, I don't know what that's about.
Twice before I have loss the same amount of weight that I have lost since my surgery (unfortunately I've gained it back both times) and my body looks no different now. I'm only about 7mths post op so hopefully I will lose another 80 pounds or so who knows what I will look like that at that point. Whaterever the pst op look is I hope I don't get it. My hope is that people still say "WOW you don't look like you've had surgery"
