    Well I'm out of surgery and sitting up. I walked to the bathroom and back. I'm a little sore and I got a little nauseated for a bit but so far so good.

    They don't have me sipping anything. I can just have ice but when it melts I have to spit it out not swallow.

    Well so far so good. I'm a bit burpy and now I can swallow my ice. Glad I brought gasx, thanks to all those *****commended it on the what to take with you list.

    I'm tired but walking when I can and the pressure isn't too bad so I think I'm one if the fortunate ones. So glad too. I had to share my bass with another patient as she didn't have any with her and her gas issues were worse than mine.

    Anyway thanks for the support from everyone. I hope to be heading home on Tuesday.

    So glad to hear things are progressing and you are on the losers bench. In a week you will feel like your old self only newly improved.

    Make sure you get anti-emetics if you are feeling nauseated. They will make you feel better fast.

    I've only had a couple of green episodes so far and they passed with some ice and slow breathing. I walk for 15 minutes every hour and the doc said I'm doing really well. Better even than hid other patients. Tomorrow is my leak test and hopefully that goes well.

    The leak test goes fast. You drink a small amount of disgustingly sweet stuff, you stand and they take your pic. It was over in 5 minutes. You will do great! Sharon
