HIT IT! A Stall....

Hi Everyone! Well... I hit a stall at 6 months. I have been very blessed as this is my first stall that I have really noticed as I only weigh in every two weeks. I had my 6 month follow up on the 29th and I still am at the same weight. I was so excited to get up this morning because I wanted to be in the 180's but the scale had other ideas. Stuck at 190 even. I am over being frustrated because to be honest I am so happy to weigh 190 pounds. I have 58 pounds to go before I get to goal and I know as long as I follow the rules given to me by my surgeon the weight will come off.

I am going to up my protein, switch up my exercise, and get more water in to see if that might help me get past the 190 mark. These are all the tips that I have read here on OH. I am so happy to have found OH. The information is invaluable.

Keeping my eye on the prize but I am enjoying every step of the journey even if it includes a stall. Have a great Friday!

Thank you Laura for being a great support on OH. When I started reading posts on here last year, you in particular were an inspiration and gave me hope because you have been so successful and also started from a similar weight.

I upped my walk to 2 hours this morning and did a different route, one that included some hills. I have also upped my water. Calories hover at 700 and I feel pretty good with that. I did cut out the sugar free Popsicles because it was becoming a bit of a problem. Only 15 calories each but I was having a problem stopping at one. One is too many and a thousand never enough for this chick.

I hope my stall breaks soon.

Thanks for the kind words. I had to cut out sweets sweetened with artificial sweetener, too. I definitely crave more when I eat them. I know some people are not affected by it, but I definitely am.

You are doing a great job. Stalls suck. Hang in there!!

I am 7 years out.... started at 373...got down to 202 (but because of an  e-coli infection post-op from tummy tuck)  gained 35 pounds during year 5-6 due to family issues and grazing.

Now back down to 214 and still losing because I'm following the plan again.

Don't lose hope...follow the plan and it will go away
