Time for more accountability.  I feel like I'm mostly back on track with my eating now, but my weight is still trending upward due to the past many weeks of bad habits.  I've got to get trending in the right direction again.  I understand why people feel compelled to go back to a liquid diet in times like these, it seems like a good way to exert control - but I know that doing that wouldn't fix any of my problems and I need to get ahold of this in a way that is sustainable and repeatable for forever.

This week: 333 - which doesn't feel like a weight loss for real b/c last week was a weight *gain* :(

Next realistic goal: 330

Next goal I have my sights set on: 299

Frustrated because last week I gained a pound and this week I lost that pound, which losing that pound is good, but I want to lose more than that pound. I've been really good with not cheating on food at all since surgery 2 months ago today and I just want to be further along than I am. I know this isn't a quick fix and I'm not scared I stretched my pouch or anything (because that would be impossible since I'm weighing all my food lol) but I haven't been able to go down a size and haven't lost any inches since I started measuring so I feel like I'm at a standstill.

I totally understand about being frustrated about being at a standstill. I'm a stair step loser & I've lost weight where it felt like I wasn't losing anything. I'm back at the point where I was a couple of weeks ago, mostly cuz I let some bad habits back in. So on one hand I'm glad I lost the weight I gained, but on the other wished I had lost just a bit more, but I can't let the scale control all the progress I've made.

My weight was right around yours when I started & it was so great finally seeing the 2 in front of my number, now I'm looking for the 1. LOL, take heart, we'll all get there eventually.

Apparently you don't have to worry about stretching your pouch. According to my NUT and Dr that's a myth. So hang in there. You'll get there with time and determination.

This week 224

Next goal: Onderland!

I've basically lost the weight I had put on a few weeks ago, mostly due to bad choices, but I'm headed in the right direction again. Coffee is finally kickin in, might go for a late walk & still get my steps in, even with the cloudy, cold weather. Somebody bring back the sun & heat!

Hi.  I'm on a pre-op diet waiting for approval for a revision surgery from Lap-band to RNY.  I just weighed in at my Doc's today, but his scale is slightly off from mine.  It still registered the 12 pound loss for the week.  That makes me happy.

Highest weight before band: 450
Lowest weight with band: 200
Highest weight after regain: 355

Last week: 352 (Doctor's scale: 356)
This week: 340 (Doctor's scale: 344)

Next Goal: Out of the 300's

I realize I won't see the 200's until after I have surgery, but I'm setting it as a goal anyway.

LapBand Weight 460 (2006) | Panni Removal Weight 200 (2008) | 3rd kid (2009)

Nothing and no one to blame but myself.  Bad eating habits, including eating out four times last week plus a glass of wine did me no favors.  I find myself mindlessly grazing.  I'm cutting out the fruit I've been eating as my late night snack and sticking with protein.  If I'm in need of a fix, I'm eating pickles.

I don't know what's wrong with my head these days.  I'm stuck in the teens (both physically and mentally it seems) and I need a good kick in the ass.  Next month is my six month check up with my surgeon's office.  That should be a good motivator to keep eating clean and think about the long term.

I've started tracking my calories again in my Lose It! app after not doing so for a long time.  I committed to doing it all last week and I was worried that I would find that I was going way crazy over my calories.  I'm still losing, but it has slowed down quite a bit.  To my surprise, I found that I was actually doing pretty well.

Last time I posted here I was at 191.5 and this week I'm 189.3.  Closing in on that 185 mini-goal!  :D
