On the losing side!!!

Three days post surgery and I can only get about 30oz of clear liquid in. I can get a couple tiny bites of vanilla pudding to get my capsules down. But this is it. Should I be doing more by now? Should I be worried?

My surgeon stresses that liquids are of utmost importance after surgery. He says the primary focus should be HYDRATION (48-64oz of liquids) from days 1-7.  Ideally if you can get some protein in too, that's a big plus.  He recommends Isopure or Syntrax Nectar protein supplements for the clear liquids phase so we can try our best to get 40-60g of protein that first week.  (He has us do 1 week clear liquids and 1 week 'full' liquids) as the first two stages.

Are you trying to just continue sipping all day? Others have said setting a timer for 15 minutes as a drink reminder helps them!
