Weekly Weigh In Dec 21/27

A small drop this week... 1 pound. I now only have 1 pound to lose and 1/4" off my bust to lose to make my January 1st goal. Worst time of year, but I am so happy I have this goal so I can stay focused and on track!

This week has been a good one. I have eaten a few bites of sweets here or there, but nothing over-the-top. I am hoping to continue to maintain until January 1st, then life gets somewhat back to normal.

Congratulations! It is a difficult time of the year with the easy access to a lot of food. I always recommend to the individuals I work with to reward your self (Perhaps with a praise or pat on the back) for each of your accomplishments.

I was happy to see after my 1 pound gain last week that I had a big drop this week! Which evens me out from last week, phew!

Now I just have to get through my 3 Christmases this week. But for the one I'm cooking something and bring it along so I'm good there and for the other two I'm bring stuff along in my purse just in case. And I survived and even lost a pound over my 3 Thanksgiving so I'm hoping it will be the same here.

I'm going to post a day early.  I had to go out of town starting today for work for 2 weeks so I won't have a scale in the morning. But it has been a GREAT week.

Well I'm finally moving in the right direction again even though my stomach is "talking" to me again. I haven't heard these sounds since I was fresh from surgery, so I'm back to analyzing what's different this time around. Dang it, its raining out. No bike riding!  Now if I can just motivate my ass out of the chair into the gym. Oh well, my stats so far:

I'm 3 months out and what's up with the "talking" stomach. Its all the time...eating, not eating, sleeping, swimming,...the activity doesn't seem to matter. What is up with that!!!

Mine still makes noises all the time and I am 7 years out. My kids get so embarrassed but I am used to it...lol!!

Yeah it feels weird, in the beginning I kinda expected it to talk, like wth are you eating?, I'm not ready for that kinda talk, but over a year out & it wants to start "talking" to me again? I guess it's still a little ticked off & wants to remind me that I'm not a trash can. (Thanks Kat)

Does yours talk to you from both sides? I get talking from the pouch and from the old reconnected stomach. Noises to the right of me, noises to the left of me.....
