Morning Weekly Weighers!

My eating on the weekend was off the rails, and the scale shows it. I know it's fluid retention from extra carbs and salt, but yikes. Very sobering none the less!

Going to put some extra emphasis on dense protein and fluids for a few days and see where I'm at...

How did you all do?

Stats:

SW: 378

LW: 167

TW: 170. Yikes.

Goals: get under 167! And then make my way to 145, a healthy BMI.

take care everyone!

Good morning!

Yep, chug the water. Eat the meat. I bet it'll drop right off. My weekend wasn't the best. It was the 10th anniversary of my dad's death yesterday. I did a lot of moping. I also ate a lot of cheese. I ate a half a hamburger last night - which is not unusual. I usually have a half on the weekend. But we went to Maggie Moos after, and I ate a kid size dark chocolate ice cream.

So I get on the scale and I'm down two lbs. Yay! I've found the cure! It's hamburgers and ice cream.

Just kidding. Back on track today.

Sorry to hear about your dad's death anniversary, Sally. My mom's is coming up at Christmas. I know those days are especially tough. Hope your week is good.

I'm sorry to hear about the 10th anniversary of your dad's death, Sally. Those times are difficult indeed.

The 10th anniversary of my mom's passing is coming up in February... it's hard to believe it's been 10 years already. It'll be 9 years that my dad passed next month. Time sure flies.

You did really well with your weight loss. Congratulations. Yes, burgers and ice cream; that's my new diet "a la Sally!!" :)

Hi you guys,

I started with a BMI of 53, now it is 40. Still high, but going in the right direction!

After extensive stalling last month, the scale is moving again!

Last Monday: 268.0

Today: 262.2

Yesterday was my 5 month date and I hit exactly 90 lbs. down, a victory!

I can give you a lowest adult weight if you like, but it was long ago.

Have a great week!

Great loss. Way to go! You really are doing great. Happy five month surgiversary.

By the way, the way I understand it, the LW stands for Last Week not Lowest Weight.

HW - High Weight

LW- Last Week

TW- This Week - or I guess it could be Today's Weight.

Amazing all around Au Contraire! Great loss, plus happy 5 month surgiversary!!!

You inspired me to calculate my current BMI, and it has gone down from 56 to 48! I have a long way to go, but what a difference already. :)

Hi IF and all,

Well IF, I have no doubt you will get back on track. I know we can all have this "sobering" times in our weight loss journeys... I commend you for coming here and posting about it. I know hiding from it is what got me to over 300 lbs. Getting off the rails is so easy. Hiding the truth about it is even easier. Thanks for sharing.

My week: I broke through 50 lb loss!! I am officially at 51 lbs lost, to be accurate. :)

I have to go for my blood work today in preparation for my three month check up coming up next month. I'm very interested to see my levels.

HW: 308

LW: 259.5

TW: 257

Goal: Get into the 240's (although I think that's going to take a couple of weeks). Then, break past 242... the lowest I've been in my adult life!!

Also, I have an indoor bike set up. I want to ride it! So I need to get over the mental hurdle/block of "I hate exercise". Lol

Have an amazing week everyone!!
