You may want to look into DIEP. That's what I had done and I am THRILLED with the results. I had it done at the time of the original surgery but it can be done even afterwards. You need to find a very skilled plastic surgeon to do this surgery. There are not a lot around. Mine was very well known for outstanding DIEP results at the Mayo here in Phoenix.
I was originally offered a lumpectomy. It was me who (based off family history) asked for a double mastectomy. I had no idea at the time that there was a surgery called DIEP until my oncologist from the Mayo told me about it.
It's one hell of a surgery but it will give you new breasts and a tummy tuck. Insurance paid for it all. They don't balk at things breast cancer related, I have crappy insurance and it was covered for me.
My breasts look so natural (for actually being my tummy fat and not real breast tissue) that even my OB/GYN doctor commented about them at my yearly check up. She isn't from the Mayo, had only heard about the surgery but never had a patient who had it done. She looked at my breast in this perplexed stare and said, "If I didnt know any better, I would think you had a breast reduction because of how your scars look, that does NOT look like someone who's had a double mastectomy"
