I am currently 18 days our from sleeve surgery...

pre surgery I was on Insulin-NPH 10 units at night and 5 units in the am; glipizide 5mg 2x a day; Metformin  1000 mg 2x day and my sugars were in the 250's to 300's on a regular basis...

NOw that I am sleeved my meds are ONLY METFORMIN and my sugars run 100-120 on a daily basis. I am tolerating food very well...I am on the pureed stage 3 right now...I am eating tuna salad, string cheese, chicken pureed, beans and cheese, greek yogurt, steam vegetables until mushy. I eat about 1/2 cup of food and I am satisfied....

My weight is slowly coming off....not as fast as other people though..but hey my medications have decreased greatly and I feel like a million bucks....I DO NOT feel that diabetes "hangover" any longer...

I started out at 276 and now I am at 250 lbs...

So what are you eat for breakfast , lunch and dinner?
