necrobiosis/NLD

I was wondering if anyone here has the skin condition called necrobiosis or NLD? I have had it for almost 12 years and was wondering if anyone has had WLS while they had NLD. It is said that most people who develop necrobiosis will almost always have diabetes. Well, I don't have diabetes yet, and I hope by having the surgery I won't. I haven't had the surgery yet but am in the process (early) of doing so. Anyone who can be of help here would be much appreciated. Take care, Tami
