I have had the DS for 1 1/2 weeks out.  I am on mushy foods and I really want a cookie or cake dessert... any thing out there to help this craving.  I have eaten applesauce, SF Jello,  but nothing is helping.  Any suggestions?

 Ricotta fluff!
Ricotta cheese, and if you don't like the texture, beat it till smooth
1 package of sugar free cheesecake pudding mix (any SF pudding mix will do)
A tablespoon or two of sour cream

Very high in protein, tastes like cheesecake

Ricotta is a much finer texture and milder flavor.   If you mix it with a mixer or in a blender, it's more like a cream cheese consistency.

I used to not like cottage cheese either, and now I do - oddly.
I mix it with a container of cool whip and a box of sugar free jello powder to make something called "Thelma Salad."   Sometimes I add nuts, especially if it's to the s/f cranberry jello.   Another good protein treat.

That sounds good, Julie. I happen to have both ricotta and SF cheesecake pudding on hand. (Though I need to make sure there's no aspartame in it as that makes me sick.) How much ricotta would I use?

Custard with cookie bits mixed in so they're squishy.
