ANYONE know of an EXCELLENT DS surgeon in FL?

 I've been looking and cannot find one???  Not one in the whole state of FL?

And a good one.  sigh...
I've been on prednisone and chemo for over 7.5 years.  Gained over 160 pounds due to pred. Highest wt. 410. Surgery wt. 365. Current wt. 299

Sorry, there isn't one. I think the closest would be Dr. Smith in Atlanta, who has an excellent reputation.
    Check the list of vetted DS surgeons at dsfacts.com.

 I think there's only about 50 DS surgeons in the entire world, and none are in FL, I'm afraid.  Fortunately Atlanta isn't too far of a drive, considering.  I second the Dr. Smith recommendation.

Dr. Rosenthal did them at Cleveland Clinic over in Weston, which was where I was planning on going, however was emailed on Monday and waiting to hear back to see if he still is... UGH, have also been researchind Dr. Smith and have been in contact with his office. Received paperwork and now getting all my things together for them.

He is fairly choosey about who he revises, and does not make that decision until the facts are all in front of him, recent med reports and original operating report, recent UGI the works.
