Hi Gina,
Enjoying your vacation???
11 hr day today. Clinic was crazy.
I have been so unbelievably exhausted....hysterically exhausted....DH thinks I should have my iron markers checked. Think I'll give it two more weeks. It's probably because I went back to work too soon, good thing though, I'm usually in bed asleep by 8:30!

B: bacon, 2 protein shakes
S: cheese
L: turkey and Swiss on Thin WW bun, pickles
S: 2 small Ginger cookies (need to get the recipe ...not!!)
D: cheese omelette, bacon

V: one batch left
F: ok
E: none

Yep, having a good time. Today I drove DH's golf cart all afternoon. I'm going to do the same thing tomorrow morning. I love being outside and I can enjoy it but not have to compete doing some sport--jus****ching. :)

I remember Vitalady saying our bodies take a huge iron hit when we have any kind of plastics. I guess that would be true of any open surgery. She encourages lots of protein and keeping up the iron supplements. How much iron are you taking and what kind?

No iron......just my infusions. The hematologist said not to bother. My pre op labs were just fine and my ferritin in mid May was 170

Sounds ok. I guess 2 more weeks will tell the story.

Just a quick thank you to those that post in these. Giving us that is new some idea of what we should eat down the road.
You're welcome. :)  I don't think I'm setting a very good example this week--we're on vacation and out of our normal routine. At least you know you can have some variety the further out you get. Just get to goal and then enjoy a little of everything in small quantities every now and then...just like normal skinny people do.
