What six-plus years looks like

 Although Facebook seems to have taken control of my life more than it should, I'm trying to get on here and post more, as this site is often the "gateway" for new DS'ers.

At any rate, I wanted to give newbies an idea of what six years post-DS can look like!

Watched you (and others) on here off and on for years and you are are always a positive motivator for me.  You surely know that posting your pics is like dangling bait in front of the still obese! At least it was for me.  Thank you for being here.

Thanks for posting!!

I can only hope to look that good after 6 years. I'm only a year and a half out and feel pretty good, but I'm terrified my 275lbs lost, are just lurking around the corner to jump back on WITH FRIENDS!

It took me a long time to trust my DS, and I still try to keep an eye on things.    I've had about a ten pound regain and I've been pretty stable ever since.    I go through periods where I think it'd be nice to lose that ten pounds, but truly, at my age (51) I needed the weight.    I'm too old to be uber thin!
