Hello,

I just found this website and decided to say hello and introduce myself. I had the Duodenal Switch 8 years ago and I am doing fantastic. I initially lost 100 pounds but gained 15 back in the last 2 years but I am very happy at my weight of 145. My yearly labs are really good with the only abnormal level being Vit D...........I am working on that. My Dexa scans are normal.  I am in excellent health and not taking any medications just a boat load of vitamins. I find following the DS diet very easy because I love protein and fats. I only have one normal BM in the morning and minimal gas problems if I stay away from flour and sugar. This was the best thing I have ever done for myself with absolutely no regrets..............it feels so good to be free of the obesity beast and never having to diet again....life is good and I will probably stay around a lot longer as a result of having the best weight loss surgery available.

Love and Light,

Marie

Congratulations!  Look up PatchMD.  Lots are having great success with the patches.  All you need is the normal dose because it's absorbed transdermally.

Thanks Patty,

I will definitely check them out............I like the idea of a patch as it gets tiring swallowing handfuls of vitamins.
