Pain

i had surgery a little over two weeks ago. I still have a lot of adominal pain. It feels like major cramping. Pain pills help. I called the doctor and they said it should go away in a couple more weeks. Has any one experienced this? 

Everyone's recovery is different. It took me a month before I was off pain pills...and about 2 months before I felt "normal" again.

If the pain increases, or you start running a fever, get to the ER. Tomorrow is monday, if you are very concerned about it, make an appointment to see your doctor in person. Yes, it may be "nothing"but how can the doctor know that without examining you in person?

pain after major abdominal surgery is normal. Take your pain pills as directed.
