11 year Surgiversary
I cannot believe it has been 11 years!! I only dreamed of this day early on as I would read everyones posts. I come here and read, I don't post like I used to, but this place helped me so much. I copied my post from last year (just changing the years) because I really couldn't say it better..........
11 Years ago today my life changed forever!! I was desperate for help and a change, I found that in the DS procedure and Dr. Dennis Smith, my surgeon. I have lost 119lbs, I have kept all but 5-8lbs off. My weight fluctuates a little but I always go back to basics when it creeps up. I had plastic surgery in 2009 to remove the excess skin, 20lbs of it to be exact.
I will forever be grateful to God that I found Dr. Smith and the DS. I would do it over again 100 times!! I would find a way to pay for it out of my pocket if it wasn't covered by my insurance.
I love this DS life!!

Congrats Jinjer! It's hard to believe isn't it. I'll be 10 yrs out in April. What a change of life!
