L--Chinese Buffet....chicken, shrimp, beef and broccoli, 2 sushi pieces, few bites of hot and sour soup, 3 bites of ice cream. Couldn't eat everything I took. Just sampled alll of it and ate mostly the shrimp.

D--BLT sandwich on low carb bread with avocado.

S--2 fun size snicker bars

All vites and walked around the mall for exercise.

 WOW 2 years already! Seems like yesterday when you stumbled onto the forum. You are still rockin' your DS. So glad that you are a part of our family here. You look amazing! Tracy does too!

L~ I chopped up about 8 slices of bacon added in some diced tomatoes and chopped up some cucumber and stirred together with some mayo. Ate it with a spoon....LOL Was similar to a BLT without the bread.

D~Mission Low carb tortilla wrap stuffed with a ton of cheese, turkey, ham, tomato, lettuce, ranch dressing and mayo. It was so fat, had to pick away a lot of the wrap to eat the insides.

 Happy Surgiversary, Lenore! Wow that was a quick 2 years. Sounds like you are doing great. Congrats on your wonderful success!!

 I was self pay and my pre op tests were all coded due to my co-morbidities. Due to that my insurance covered them without any knowledge of my upcoming surgery. I think the diagnosis codes used are the key as to if your insurance will cover them or not.

 Try lots of different fluids and at different temps. My lifesavers in the first few days post-op were peppermint tea.....watered down cranberry juice....G2 and sugar free fruit punch. I also did really well with chicken broth. Just keep sipping all day long. Food and vites will come in time....for now it's imperative to stay hydrated!

 Tonight I am making a chicken and broccoli casserole. Maybe some buttered crescent rolls! I got the recipe from Beth Pack and I'll share.

Chicken And Broccoli Casserole

 

 

6 chicken breasts cut in chunks

Broccoli florets

 1 can of cream of chicken soup

 1 small onion diced

 1 cup of mayo

 Shredded cheese

 Stove top stuffing

 

 Cook chicken and onion, toss in large bag of frozen broccoli and cook til broccoli is slightly cooked, toss in 9x13 pan, top with soup and mayo mixture, top with about 2 cups of shredded cheese, prepare stuffing mix per box instructions ( I add more water for easier spreading), top cheese layer with the stuffing mixture and bake at 350 till brown and bubbly
