    ive heard u only lose a certain amount of weight the first year only and the weight loss is slow.im going in by may to have my revision and my doc told me i may not lose any weight or i might lose the 60 pounds back ive gained. in the ten years after having the RNY.im getting a revision of the ring being put arnd my stomach instead of the band.

    that probably was just that surgeon telling u that was impossible. my friend is having that done in 3wks the band over her RNY from 2004. im sorry u feel that way and things didnt work out but dont give up if u want to pursue a new journey because you can have that done if you want just check out a new surgeon.

    I had  my lap band in 2008 Oct.  I lost 80 lbs in 8 months but I  knee Jan 2009 that is when I gained 40 back also lost my parents within 6mo apart. I am so down but yet I work out everyDAY Monday-Friday at the pool lose nothing 2 pounds up then 2 pounds down. I don't journal I really do think I will start today.  I also need to go get a fill soon. I havn't had a fill in over a year almost two. Last year I was really out of it.  I need life back.

    yep had rny 4/07 stopped losing after 6 months. Distal rny stopped losing after 6 months. I'll let you know after revision to ds.  If it is approved.
