Omg I need help so bad...I had the gastric sleeve 2 years and 8 months ago,I lost 120 pounds and gain 40 back. I want to know if getting a lap band is a great choice for a revision surgery..some folks say a DS but I don't wanna get cut on my intestines.

No I don't think the band is a good choice!  I have had the band for 3.5 year and am trying to get the sleeve after I get it out.  You need to figure out why you gained with the sleeve.  If it is behavior it won't matter which surgery you choose.  If that is the case you will need help with your behavior.  Otherwise the only thing I would get after a VSG is the DS.  The vsg is the first half of a DS.

 Ask yourself why are you gaining?  Are you eating Mindfully?  Are you logging?  Are you exercising?

If you lost 120 lbs - you know what you need to do - you need to get your head back in the game.  Are you attending support groups?  Find a back on track group in your area and start attending that.  Probably a better chouce than another surgery.  Most band-ers I know in my groups are trying to get sleeves - not the other way around.

Do yourself a favor....do not get the lapband! Take it from someone who has had it for 5.5 years. You are lucky you lost! You are a sleever...really look into the DS for revision...not the lapband. I am waiting ever so patiently for my referral to call so I can get this thing out of me ad revision to the DS....I also felt like you....except I didn't want them cutting me at all....thats why I went for the lapband. Now, 16 lbs down and a morbidly obese self bulemic (the band has made me this way) I would do ANYTHING to have it out. Even if I was not looking into revisioning I would be wanting this thing out anyways. Your sleeve is the first part of the DS....keep your chin up girl....just do your research.
