Hello Brenda,

I too have been told that I have a lot of scar tissue.....I had the band put in in 1986..it eroded and was removed in 2007....I had a surgeon attempt to put in a new adjustable band in 2008 but he aborted the attempt because of scar tissue.....

I have  regained all and then some since then....I want to search out the possibility of an alternate form of wls to stop the landslide....I am so afraid that there are no options for me and that there is not a surgeon that will perform my surgery.

any info that you can provide would be greatfully appreciated....I am in New Jersey and am in the first stages of researching.
