I see people with tickers that show 1,000 minutes per month for exercise. Is that a good target? I am curious.  I have seen some a few with 2,000... I am just wondering because I'd like to set a goal for myself like this too. Is it 1,000 minutes of exercise? Or walking? Or what? THANKS!!

My guess is that it's any sustained exercise that elevates your heart rate.  I guess that it averages out to 33 minutes a day which is pretty good.  Could be running, walking, biking, swimming, hiking, basketball, etc.  Anything that gets the heart rate up for at least 30 minutes a day.

Alot of the tickers are for monthly or holiday challenges we do in our individual forums. There is usually a sign up. For instance The april challenge in the Lap Band Forum I have commited to 1500 minutes. Some people do 500, 1,000, 2,000. Whatever you feel you can do.
