    ALMOST 3 WEEKS OUT OF SURGERY (SLEEVE)

    HELLO WLS FAMILY, HAD SURGERY 3/20/12 VERTICLE SLEEVE.  BESIDES WALKING WHAT OTHER EXERCISES SHOULD I BE DOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    LOL Scott.  Thanx for the reply.  If I had to pick........................Bruce.  I dont always have access to a computer thats why the response was/is late.  Also to you and the others on this site thanks for being an inspiartion.
    Whatever your surgeon cleared you for that you enjoy!

    I found anything  that stressed my core was out until about 2 months out but I started running at 1 month out and I was riding the stationary bike at the gym at 2 weeks out.

    Most of us had lifting restrictions for at least the first 6 weeks but that's about it.

    Since my attempt at a little light humor was a miserable failure, I will just answer the question. I would walk, walk, walk and if you feel up to it maybe a little light jogging. If you have access to a gym, try a bike or eliptical. At 6-8 weeks you can start with light weight training which will add muscle which will aid fat loss.
