    Race Day Post

Okay, so on Thursday night I decided it was time to see where my fitness level currently sits. So how did I decide to check it by running a 5K race this morning.

The goal was to go out with everything I had to give today, and that's what I did.

I ended up establishing a new PR for 5k distance of 25:45. Here is a link to my Garmin watch. Oh I finished 32nd out of 205 competitors, and 2nd in my age group (45-49).

It was a good day. I now have a new baseline for changing up my training to kick it up to a higher gear.
