    Sunday workouts

Got up and went for a killer 7  mile hike this morning - There were some extended uphill sections that were very steep - I was sore before I was done.

Seems you've been the major hiker lately!  Awesome.

I biked 47 miles this morning, giving me a weekend total of 121.  Doesn't come close to the 200 miles my biking partners did yesterday in the STP (Seattle-to-Portland).

Simply walking bores me to death and my knees won't allow me to run as much as I'd like so hiking is my solution for now.

Yes!  Walking is too slow, and my body won't tolerate running.  Biking is great!  You should try it!  Easy on the joints, naturally-occurring interval training, speed, fun, etc.  Not that hiking isn't great, I'm just completely nuts for biking.

I did a lot of cycling earlier this year, but where I live now - it'd be a suicide mission. I can't wait to move back to a normal part of town.

Had an active weekend, but not nearly as far along as all of you....ran/walked 8.5 miles yesterday and then rode my bike (for the first ride ever) for9.5 miles this morning.
I may have had a few extra potholes along the way, but the journey has been good!

weight lifting, then bike riding pulling my son ending with a nightime swim.
60 hard min on the bike trainer watching all the flat tires in the TDF today... what kind of jackass throws tacks/nails on the road???
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Today was a great 30 mins on rolling stairs...completing 75 floors.

Worked my new off the track 4 yr old gelding for 60 min, both of us were dripping in sweat.  But I think I'm going to go hop on the elliptical too, because somehow that doesn't feel like a "real" workout.

ETA: ended up giving the elliptical a pass and did a cross training weight thing.  Kicked my ass and I may not be able to life my arms tomorrow!
