Develop a good overall habit of total body conditioning. There really is no true way to "spot correct". Mix cardio with strength training. You'll want a good CORE program....not just stomach...your core is from armpits down to hips.....if you work all of these muscles, you'll develop strength in your midsection (which positively affects your entire body) and good muscle definition.
In the early days, I did yoga, which is great for core strengh and Core Secrets, which is done on the big ball.
I have always worked out at home....I just recently started taking some boxing and boot camp classes at a gym just for a change, but I will always be a workout at home girl.
I also love P90X, but had to work up to that. A good intro before that is Power 90 by beachbody.com.
