Hey everyone, haven't been on here in a while because life has been super hectic. I do try to read and keep up though!
Did my third 5k over the weekend and came in sub-30, SO exciting! I really love running and pushing myself to keep getting better and going further/faster.
That being said I feel stuck. Pre-surgery there was not a form of exercise that I enjoyed, hence why I didn't exercise. Now I've found running and I love it and am halfway decent at it but I have the same problem as before: I hate everything else and so I don't do anything else. So I'm flabby. Like, really flabby. I have pretty much no muscle tone at all and am so weak that I can't even do a modified push up correctly. A while ago we were talking about CrossFit on here and I looked into it and it was really out of my price range. I've been talking to the hubby though and I think I'm going to try it for a month just to see a.) if I like it and b.) if it can kick start weight loss by increasing muscle. At $100 a month it's not something I could sustain long term but it is something I feel like I need to do for myself to give me the best shot of getting these last 25-30 lbs off.
Anyone on here doing crossfit? Do you like it?
