I really love yoga because it helps me to reduce some stress. It also improves my sleep, energy levels, memory, concentration, digestion and posture. Yoga has many benefits in our overall health and I make sure to have some time to do it.

I do yoga most days of the week.  I especially enjoy it for stretching after running.  I'm so much more flexible now than I was when I started yoga and I really think that it helps me stay more in tune with my new body.

You all ever heard of DDP Yoga? That is a great program I just got it not too long ago and I am about to resume doing it since I have been cleared to return to exercise from my latest surgery.

I am pursuing the paramedic refresher course, which requires strength both metally and physically. I love to do yoga to gain all the strength.

It also helps reduce injuries from other forms of exercise (e.g. running) by keeping us limber. I do yin yoga (holding the poses a LONG TIME for a deep stretch) no less than 2 times a week, just to "undo" what all the jogging did!

The main benefits are increased flexibility and strength. Yoga is also good for relaxing the body and mind which should help with the depression and anxiety. This is because during the period of time you are performing yoga you are focused on controlling your breathing and holding your body in certain poses. There are many other benefits to yoga as well! In my opinion, if you are able to improve your depression and anxiety, you will become much happier overall. I am a strong believe that when your body is not depressed or stressed than it will start to function properly again. Therefore it will help you to get pregnant and lose weight etc.
