I don't have a lot of control over anything this week, so I'm doing what I can and knowing that will be good enough.  In better news, once I'm back home I'll be adding a PiYo and Pound class to my fitness schedule.  I've tried the PiYo class already and it was fun!

Mon - yoga
Tue - 5k training and yoga stretching
Wed - yoga (Edit: I also did a "BodyCombat" class!)
Thur - 5k training and yoga stretching
Fri - yoga
Sat - yoga
Sun - 5k training and yoga stretching

And you?

Trying to keep my runs & swims going between seasons - - can't wait for marathon season to start again because I miss my running buddies! On the upside, I'm gonna be a low-key coach for a short Intro to Trails program. Mercifully all that's required of that is experience on trails and CPR certification. If I had to get RRCA certification, that'd be a whole 'nother story....

Monday: rest

Tuesday: 4mi am run, 1000mt swim

Weds: 1000mt swim

Thurs: midday run, 5mi at 10 min/mile pace (so spring is helping me get over the it's-winter-so-I'm-slow thing!)

Friday: 1000mt swim (best pace yet! Sub-24min and did flip turns from laps 9 onward!)

Saturday: moonlight trail run, 5mi (and no headlamps but no one fell!)

Sunday:8 mi (pace was fast, 10 min/mile, but it felt really hard as I had too little sleep! On the upside, I got my tri bike today... off to rehab it Monday.)

Thanks! I finished in an hour and 20 mins. Not too bad for my first one considering it was really hot too! :)
