I know, I am probably way behind the times. I have been working out at the gym for about 6 weeks now. I have never had an ipod, even though every one else in my household can't live without theirs. My son bought me an ipod shuffle for mother's day and my husband loaded it with my favorite music. I clipped it on my shirt and had a great workout! Much more fun when moving to music!

Yes it's a lot of fun working out to music. I rearranged the songs in my playlist to have more uptempo music so that I can work faster to the beat. Its a way to challenge myself, fast song walk faster, slow song, slow down. I'll rearrange it as my fitness improves.

I understand you perfectly, working out is so much better with music . I use GymStream - Free Workout Music on my iPhone . It plays motivating, dynamic music, it's great for exercizing.
