I have cotton synthetic blend socks( less than 10% cotton) that are working fine for short distances, but when I get above 7 miles, my feet are starting to chafe.  I would bet if I went 10-12 miles I would develop blisters.

For you long distance guys, what do you recommend?

Does anyone use a soemthing like Chamois Butt'R cream?

I use balega brand hidden comfort and enduro 3/4 socks. They are the most comfortable socks I have owned. While they are pricey your feet will thank you.

I bought two different brands. The Balega enduro and Feetures crew socks.  Of the two, I liked the Balega the best.  I felt like I was sliding around in the Feetures socks.  I hope I can find crew socks in the Balega brand.
